PalamSilk.com is created to deliver a broad and varied range of sarees to the visitor. It is a place where you could find the right saree for your near and dear ones or for yourself.
Choose the item that you wish to purchase from the homepage of our website, click on the "Add to Cart" button. You can make the payment online via credit card or net banking, or choose the Cash on Delivery option.  You will receive an order confirmation email from us. This email contains your order and shipment details.
No, you can shop as a Guest User but you will have to share your contact details with us. If you register, it will help us communicate with you in future.
PalamSilk.com ensures the safety and security of your credit/debit card information, as we use latest encryption technology to protect your order and payment details. The privacy and security of your details are our prime concern.
No, we only accept orders placed online after securing your payment through the credit/debit card information or Cash On Delivery option submitted by you.
We accept online payments and cash on delivery. You may pay through credit/debit card, cash card or internet banking.
At present we accept MasterCard and Visa credit cards (both Indian and International) only. The other mode of payment is Online Bank Transfers.
Shipments within India are absolutely free.

There are no taxes or hidden charges for shipments within India. However, taxes or customs duty (if any) levied by countries outside India are as per their rules and regulations.

The product specifications (weight, type, colour, etc.) mentioned with the product photos are only approximate. There may, hence, be a variation in the pictures and the respective products. PalamSilk.com, in its absolute discretion, may deliver a similar / alternate product for reasons or exigencies beyond its control. At the same time, PalamSilk.com will make all possible efforts to make its services delightful for both the sender and the receiver of the gift. Note: Accessories and blouse worn by the model are not a part of the product.

For International shipping —10 to 15 working days
Yes, we do deliver to most locations outside of India too. Shipping times vary between 10 to 15 days, depending on your location. For exact shipping rates and time, please check the shipping calculator.
Local authorities of certain countries may levy a duty or charge on the import of sarees. In such event that a duty/charge is raised, the liability for payment of such duty is entirely upon the customer. Palam only invoices the store value of the product plus shipping costs. As a thumb-rule, we will not know whether or not duty/charges will be levied. In the event of the customer is not willing to accept the shipment or payment of the duty/charge, they may choose to not accept delivery. In such case, no refund will be provided. However, the customer can provide an alternate Indian address to which we can deliver the saree.
You will receive a confirmation email after your order has been shipped. You can also track your order status online by logging into My Account.
Your order passes through the following states before it finally enters the 'Shipped' state: a) Processing: This is the default status for your order and it comes as soon as order is placed. b) Processed: Your order/payment has been approved by our payment gateway. We are ready with the product and the order will be executed as per your specifications. c) Shipped: Your order has been successfully shipped from our end; or d) Cancelled: Your order could not be approved by our payment gateway or we are not in a position to deliver the goods due to some constraints.
Yes. To cancel an order, click on the My Account link on the top of any page on the site. This will take you to your My Account page, where you can click on the Track Your Pending Orders link to view all the orders that have not yet been fulfilled. You can then click on the Order Number that you wish to cancel and then finally click on the Cancel Order link available for that order. Please note that you can only cancel orders that have not yet entered the shipping process.

The timeline mentioned on the website is an approximate. While we try our best to ensure you will receive your order on time, we cannot guarantee the same, as some factors may be beyond our control.
If you are not present at your home on the date of delivery, we may inform through phone call, email, fax, or other available medium of communication. Finally the product is delivered at your desired address from where you can collect your parcel.
Yes. Please email us your order confirmation and pick-up date along with the name of the person who will be collecting the item on your behalf. For security reasons,  proof of identity must be provided by the person collecting the order.
All catalogue sarees are made to order. Please email us the saree code or a picture of the saree and we can make one for you exclusively. It will take a minimum of 3 months to make the saree and execute your order.
Yes. Please get in touch with us before placing your order. There may be additional charges based on the courier agency's rate chart.
No. We only have an exchange option. Exchange can be availed online as well as in any of our stores.

Yes, it is possible. Please WhatsApp on +91 7358664442, or call us on this number, 24 hours before picking up the saree. We can keep it ready for you in any of our Chennai stores.
Yes, it is possible. Please mail your name, contact number, shipping and billing address and the barcode of the saree to customercare@palamsilk.com. We will check the availability, raise an e-invoice and send it your email id. You can pay for the saree online using any of your debit and credit cards. Net-banking and international cards including American Express / AMEX cards are accepted.
We can. There is an additional charge of Rs. 50/-, but we will gift wrap it well and include a note as well from your end. When you order your saree online, you can choose the "gift wrap" option.

The price tag and the saree folds need to be intact and in exactly the same condition as we sent you. If you have a friend or relative in Chennai, they can bring the saree to the store and exchange it for a different saree. If you wish, you can also exchange it online. If you can let us know your reference via email or phone, we can send you an exchange coupon code.
No, the sarees that you see online are exclusive to the site except for the sarees featured under the catalogue section.
You may reserve a saree for a maximum of 2 to 3 days.

Yes, this can be done. Please send us either your email id or WhatsApp number so that can we get back to you with the saree images.
