Mango yellow kanchipuram silk saree with a long border in copper zari emblazoned with ancient coin Chola dynasty. This Chola coin is believed to be an inscription of Raja Raja Chola himself. The circle inscriptions on the right indicate the value of the coin, according to researchers and numismatists. They have also stated that the back of the coin carries Raja Raja Chola’s name inscribed. Farmers and forest tribes who found these coins sold them to tourists in Madurai unaware of their true value. There is a talk among the locals that this coin was discovered during the auspiscious Kumbabishekam of Brihadeeswarar temple in Tanjore.
